Preliminary Survey of Cherokee Cultural Landscapes

STACH worked with the Tribal Historic Preservation Office, identifying properties of significance and cultural value within tribal boundaries of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. The preliminary analysis identified ethnographic landscapes, historic sites, buildings, and archaeological sites of value. Assessment of each property included inventory of character defining features, significance, and perceived threat.
