Weymouth Cultural Landscape Report, Part I

STACH led the creation of the Part I CLR for the Weymouth Cultural Center. The home of James Boyd and Catherine Boyd, from 1904 through the 1960s, the family conserved the oldest longleaf pine forest in the country, established the Moore County (Fox) Hunt, and brought a conservation-based ethic to the developing town of Southern Pines. This Part I CLR identified the history and significance and laid the foundations for interpretation, preservation, and management. STACH co-authored this study with Davyd Foard Hood architectural historian.
