Details: Glenn Stach and members of the American Battlefield Trust team were on hand at the Yorktown Custom House, presenting the latest restoration/design of a commemorative tree planting, reforestation on land owned by the American Battlefield Trust at Yorktown, in fulfillment of the Daughters of the American Revolutions National Society's Pathway of the Patriots tree plantings for the nation's 250th.

Details: Glenn Stach represented the NC Board of Landscape Architects, alongs side fellow board member Clay Gloster at this year's Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Board (CLARB) annual meeting.

Details: Glenn Stach attended the North Carolina A&T Landscape Architecture Program's accreditation meeting, which included key stakeholders from the professional community and alumni of the program to make recommendation for the programs future. NC A&T is the sole undergraduate program in landscape architecture, and the only HBCU landscape architecture undergraduate program in the nation.

Details: Glenn Stach facilitated an All Partners Update in Culpeper, Virginia regarding the future plans for the Culpeper Battlefields State Park. The American Battlefield Trust, Virginia DCR and Virginia DHR are working together to open the battlefield park to the public in June/July of 2024.

Details: Glenn Stach will speak on the firm's ongoing partnership with the Tregaron Conservancy to establish a balanced approach to preservation and sustainability at Tregaron, the early 20th century master work of Ellen Biddle Shipman and Charles Platt. The work is made possible by a grant provided by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Details: Glenn Stach will speak at the Friends of Cedar Mountain Battlefield Open House event to update the interested public on the firm's ongoing KOCOA analysis of Culpeper area Civil War battlefields. KOCOA is an analysis method used to assess the cultural landscape features (terrain features) of battlefields. The presentation will also touch on the work of the Brandy Station and Cedar Mountain State Park Alliance and efforts to establish these two battlefields as a unit of Virginia's State Parks. The work is made possible by a grant provided by  the American Battlefield Protection Program.

Details: Glenn Stach will serve as keynote speaker at the National Building Museum’s Spotlight on Design series, in celebration of Landscape Architecture Month. The talk, “The Art and Nature of Ellen Biddle Shipman” will detail the famed designer’s approach to nature and design, and highlight current efforts to renew her work on the Platt-Shipman designed landscape at the Tregaron Estate in Cleveland Park, Washington DC.

Details: Glenn Stach will serve as guest speaker to the Cleveland Park Historical Society in Washington DC’s historic Cleveland Park neighborhood. The talk will address the importance of landscape and landscape preservation policy at the local level to sustain and vibrancy and continuity in historic districts.

Details: Glenn Stach will serve as keynote speaker for “Gardening on the Green,” in Biltmore Village. The talk will discuss the Olmsted and Hunt plan for Biltmore Village and place its design with the context of other Olmsted-deigned villages and their respective preservation challenges and success.
